Finance

The Finance team have responsibility for recording all financial activity that happens in the council.

We set the budget for the year so that the council knows what it is able to spend within the resources it has available and monitor expenditure against that budget. We run the debtors and creditors to ensure that we invoice and pay for all the services that we provide, and monitor income received. We also produce the statutory accounts and other financial returns to various bodies throughout the year.
